How can Enzyme Peels benefit your skin?
When skin cells build up in the outer layer of the skin it can cause blackheads, acne, ageing skin and skin that just looks dull. The skin is composed of several layers. The bottom layer is where cells differentiate and move towards the top layer known as the corneocyte layer. The corneocyte layer is where cells form a barrier to protect the underlying layers of the skin. In this layer the cells will keep moving towards the very top where they desquamate off (shedding the outermost layers of the skin). When this shedding action is interrupted the cells clump together and build up.
