My story - How I survived stage three lip cancer.
December 2005 was one of the happiest days of my life, my beautiful blue eyed, red hair baby girl was born. Being a mum was exciting and terrifying at the same time, but what I was about to go through was even scarier.
That month I was also diagnosed with stage three lip cancer, and was told it had to be removed instantly as it was a very fast and aggressive cancer.
I had a plastic surgeon remove 1/2 my bottom lip and I had to have 6 months of treatments. The scarring was horrendous and took a long time to heal.
Then on the 28th October 2021 one of my worst nightmares came true, I found another cancer on my bottom lip close to the other site. I was so upset and had to have a second operation. I prayed this time the margins were ok. Good news! They were so no treatment was needed after the second surgery.
But this time was so different. I work in an amazing industry, where I have the knowledge to help myself and others! Using our amazing products O Cosmedics and the LED light therapy, made such a big difference to healing my scar.
My skin routine was
